The New Toy

I thought she was really getting it, pushing the blocks from side to side. But then she just grabbed the thing and stuck it in her mouth. Gotta love it.

Her newest development is the best though, when I hold out my hands to pick her up, she lifts up her arms. It makes my heart smile.

Sickly Libby

Libby has had a rough couple of days. On Friday night she started throwing up :( Add diahrrea to that yesterday, and it has been a sad time. She finally held down some formula last night. But the thing I love about her (one of them at least) is that she still smiles and looks beautiful through it all. Playing with Daddy when we still couldn't figure out why she was so fussy on Friday night.
One of the many times we had to strip her down to change all her clothes. (Between the runs and barfing--I couldn't keep her dressed!)

Senior Night at Shorewood

Libby got to go out with the Senior Parents last night at Shorewood because Matt's mom happened to be feeding Libby when Matt was introduced. Matt was surprised to see his new "little sister."

Libby Attempts Escape!

Now that Libby can roll over, she does it at any time...especially diaper changing time. Luckily she is more interested in eating the changing table than actually getting down. It gives me a chance to snap some pictures of the nude little cutie!

I went for it this morning, gel and the blowdryer. It looks clear to me that her hair is going to be curly...the minute I applied water and gel I got some curl. But, since she has a mullet, it pretty much looks like... Business up front

HUGE MILESTONES!

I caught a big milestone on video this weeked. She rolled over like crazy starting on Saturday. She skipped the easy front to back roll, and went straight for the back to front. She also drank from a sippy cup!

Libby Scooting into Trouble!

She finally did it and scooted her legs fully under the couch. She was puzzled and almost started crawling to get out. We finally had to help, but not until after I took a picture :)

We went out today in the cold and wind (she slept peacefully under the weather protector the whole time, don't worry). Isn't she so happy in her coat and hat?

A Day of Milestones!

Today I finally got out the chair that clips onto the table. I don't know why I waited so long. Libby was way into it. So, she sat at the table, and ATE RICE CEREAL. She actually swallowed some this time. I was alone, so no photo evidence of the eating, but trust me. Then, she took a shower with mommy (again no photo evidence, thankfully). I only almost dropped her once. Yikes, she was slippery. She seemed a bit freaked out by the water pressure, but she handled it great! She is such a trooper!

Norton Family Christmas

Libby enjoyed the Norton Family gift exchange on the 6th...it was late this year before we could all get together. We are a bunch of world travelers this year. She made out like a bandit with several new outfits and some great pjs, cool books, a precious moments ornament, etc. WOW. (Derek and I did too, actually :) Aunt Maren helped her open her gifts, and Libby mostly sucked on a delicious red bow.

Go T-birds!

Today was the Shoreline Invitational Wrestling Tournament! Libby had a great time cheering on the T-birds to a 3rd place finish with her Aunt Maren. Go Team!

Libby's New Bathtub

Well, her new tub is actually our shower. Our landlady Priscilla gave us the seat she is sitting in. It was a bit awkward because I didn't have it suctioned down because I was stopping up the drain with a plate (hmmmm....I will have to come up with something flatter and less fragile for that job). Anyway, she got a kick out of rocking back and forth in the seat and trying to avoid the scrubbing. :)

Libby the Island Princess

Libby is now sitting up really well. When she falls it is usually because she is diving after something that is out of her reach. This is her island princess top (with fleece pants on bottom since it is much colder than an island here in Seattle.)

A Gap in the BLOG

Libby's mommy and daddy went to Hawaii for a few days. It was a great trip, except that Trish got a mad cold, the weather was iffy, and the snorkeling was impossible with the waves (not to mention that we missed Libby miserably!). The high notes were dinner at Sam Choy's, spending time together, and the few sun breaks.
