It was really nice to start the wrestling season with a Jamboree. It was like a Saturday tournament light. It was boys and girls together too, which was awesome. Each wrestler had 2-3 matches that were 2 minutes--running clock. So they got out there, kept wrestling (even if they got pinned, they got up and kept going.) There were many matches where it was a tie and both wrestlers got their hands raised. I took photos all day (and by all day--we were done about 2 pm!!! Hooray!)
Next Saturday the real work begins. Both boys and girls heading to full day tournaments. I'm ready for it, right?
We also have a home meet this Friday that I've tried to hype a lot. So we'll see how many people come out!

| Somehow after Sarah bulldogged this girl, she ended up having to go to the hospital. Didn't see super injurious--but clogged up the mat for 1/2 hour. The girls took a long time because they had a lot of injuries during the day. |
