Libby has had a rough time finding a job. I heard a radio report that it's a problem for teens right now...especially if it's just a temporary job. So that's been annoying. She's a little like a baby right now--with days and nights mixed up. She stays up most nights and sleeps large chunks of the days. Doesn't help with the job search.
We're also trying to get her shoulder fixed up. It's been agonizingly slow. But MRI is complete, so now we just have to have the follow up appointment with the shoulder PA. Doesn't seem like surgery will be recommended. So hoping a PRP will fix her up like it did with the elbow.
She's doing some intensive therapy through Pathlight. This year was rough. Her anxiety has been really high. So hopefully this will help.
She's been pretty pleasant to live with--keeping the mess mostly contained to her room.
We'll go visit Iowa Western in a couple weeks. Hopefully we'll have her shoulder all sorted by then so she can get registered and get it all arranged to have a fresh start.
We are trying to help her remember to take her meds. Money talks for this girl, so her allowance is now daily--paid out when I get a video of her meds being consumed.
Plenty of time for makeup and photoshoots. I could add 10,000 photos from these. Even though she's lovely--I'll spare you.
She has been a little helpful sometimes.
Her car did not come through transport unscathed. So annoyed at how much it cost to get this car back--and how it is permanently scarred. Not sure if she'll be taking a car back to school.
She also gave me an hour or so to help with Moving On set up.
So anyway, happy summer. I guess.
