I hadn't really planned on Halloween this year. I didn't decorate. I didn't think we'd be going to a trunk or treat, because they announced it kind of late. But we rescheduled open mats to be there.
If you've been following the Norton family, you will know that the family Halloween theme is often a full year discussion. Now we had just a few days to decide.
My first costume idea was Baskin Robbins ice cream flavors. I still stand by that idea. (Derek would have made a great rocky road.)
Then sodas (inspired by Barker Family Halloween).
Then just rootbeers. (Maybe someone else helped refine sodas to just rootbeers?)
Anyway, we were deadlocked. Ben helped by making a poll in our Famdamily-1 (the text chain with Libby is Whole Famdamily, without her is Famdamily minus 1.)
Turns out Ben was really excited for rootbeers. (Maybe next year ice cream? But with only 3 of us...wow. Can't think about the time when it will be Famdamily -2.
