December Highlights...Ben's first varsity win

 I seriously can't skip a week right now.  So much happening.  I get overwhelmed. But I don't have time to blog with SO MUCH HAPPENING.  So--Highlights. 

After the Northcreek Jamboree, the season's actual meets kicked off.  I worked really hard to hype the season this year--to get people out to the home meets. Ok--these images are reversed.  But the boys' first meet was a class competition.  We had prizes (these awesome keychains made by our awesome neighbor).  And we had a great crowd.  It was so fun!  Ben, unfortunately, had to wrestle one of their senior captains. So he didn't get a win at his first home meet.  But he redeemed himself later in the week with a win at Jackson over a Kamiak kid.  Of course I wasn't there yet, since I was coming from girls practice.  But thanks to our new Matboss subscription, I could watch it later.  

Sarah got a win at Lady Jag--it was a tough tournament.  

He did great! But he also got frustrated that he started the season 0-3...so he made this cute short. (Not sure it's going to post...) 

Sarah had a good start to the season, going 2-0 at our Stanwood/Monroe double dual.  She lost a match against the Everett varsity, but beat the Jackson Varsity easily.  She was also beating the Everett JV when she decided to throw up on the mat.  Just once a season or so she does this (hopefully.) 

Apparently she hadn't eaten since lunch? 

Anyway, she didn't wrestle yesterday because, concert weekend.  So that's for another post.

We are surviving here.  It's a lot.  But we're having fun.
