This year I was so busy at the end of the school year that I could hardly breathe.  So Libby created the Norton Reading list.  She did a nice job, although Clark did point out that there were a lot of female protagonists (or "whiny little girls" as he called them). After the competition this year we made a long list of options to pick from for next year, with everyone contributing.  We ended up making Riding the Bus with my Sister optional.  Paige added that and it wasn't really kid friendly. Next year, all YA.
I made a Kahoot quiz of questions for the actual challenge night (which was last Sunday night.)

Somehow we ended up with all the people who didn't really read on one team.  And with Kahoot, you get points for being 1st to answer.  Some of the devices were slower than others, so that was a little tricky.  The Smarties won (I think), but it was a tough competition!  I love being a Norton.

One other awesome bonus of the Norton Reading Challenge was that we rode bikes to Maren's.  Our whole family on a family bike ride!  Life goal achieved!
