Wrestling Season--in Spring?

We will take it when we can get it!  Between May 19 and June 9, there will be 9 boys matches and about 1/2 as many girls "scrambles" (an evening matchup with many schools attending).  So, Derek has had practice every day and a match almost every night.  It has been INTENSE!  We are allowed to go to home matches or in district matches.  We can live stream the away matches (I sort of love this--if they could perfect the tech of showing the score--and getting the camera angle right.)
There have been some wins and some losses.  SW had no seniors return, that makes it tough.  But overall, it's been a great season.
Clark is doing some amazing write ups of the matches for the local news blog.  I'll link them so you can go to the expert for the results.  Shorewood vs. Shorecrest (in district rivals)
Shorewood vs. Edmonds Woodway (our biggest rival--Coached by Derek's best friend and the President of Rhinos when I was secretary)
Shorewood vs. Mountlake Terrace (where I taught--not a pretty match)

Yeah--no wonder I've been too busy to blog.  Not to mention birthday parties, YW meeting, camp meetings, choir, dance, track, drill tryouts...why did I complain about COVID cancellations again?
